Had a fantastic 2-night stay in a beautifully presented modern room with a balcony.

It's a long way out of the town of Amboise, so you need a car which I didn't have. The staff couldn't speak a word of English and weren't terribly interested in trying to understand my poor French. The manager of the hotel I was staying at in the Pyrenees immediately prior to coming to L'Arbrelle phoned the manager of L'Arbrelle on my behalf to enquire about how to get from the train station to their hotel in the country. Staff at L'Arbrelle were most unhelpful. In fact the manager of the hotel in the Pyrenees took it upon herself to arrange a taxi to meet me at the train station, since I was arriving at 9pm. If I thought I could cancel my booking at such late notice I would have on the strength of this: it was a sign of what was to come.

Great location in a peaceful area, conveniently near popular sights.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. We had a fabulous meal on the evening .The room had a lovely balcony overlooking the splendid grounds and adjacent forest.

The only problem about the room was the shower over the bath. There were two shower heads neither worked effectively but adequate.

This was a nice stay of 2 nights. Had the double room which was beautifully decorated with the private terraces. The staff turned out to be amazingly nice and outstandingly accommodating. Had countryside location close to the Loire valley. And it was also next to several Chateaux and vineyards, a lovely wooded park, and the Chenonceaux castle.

Units are nicely decorated with a terrace, offering a comfortable bed and a lovely view, while the staff provides excellent service.

Facilities were excellent and restaurant was very good.

Good wifi. Welcoming staff. Quiet. Ample parking. Lovely meals. Nice pool. Easy drive into town.

Not much wrong at all. Not really a walk into town (Amboise) so you are limited to the hotel restaurant - which was very good - but then you could drive into town in 5 mins if you are not winos like us

We enjoyed our comfortable double room that had private terraces and a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view.

Pleasant, WONDERFUL hotel, there's great pool and location is amazing close to the center. Its rooms are a decent size with the private terraces, a good breakfast and lovely view.

Lovely location and gardens, quiet and relaxing.

Breakfast choice limited, evening meal menu did not change for the three nights we were there - so only took evening meal once (was very good). Bed fitted with "rubberised" matress protector, this really does need fixing, it squeaks, makes the bed hard and hot (use a quality quilted cotton mattress protector instead).

The hotel is personable and managed by friendly staff. the charm queen room with private outside seating was lovely. - the location is perfect, just 4 km from a large château. - It's close to several other chateaux and a beautiful wooded park near the Loire valley chateaux.

1.Good welcome,pleasant lounge to relax in after arriving,helpfull reception and advice on local sights. 2.Annexe bedrooms smart and comfortable. 3.staff without exeption pleasant,hands on manager observant!

1.The only downside ,was the toughest steak of the year!

Good family hotel,picturesque and silent place,an excellent location closed to Ambois and not far away from main castles.. Friendly staff and family atmosphere in the hotel, good breakfast,clean and good furnished room with pleasant view to the garden and to the pond. Very comfortable bed with orthopedic mattress! Excellent place for the relaxed holiday.

There are not coffee and tea facilities in the room.
